Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.7
Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure about exploring a crumbling estate with only a lantern for company. There's very little hand-holding — you poke around, solve environmental puzzles, and slowly piece together what happened here. It's the kind of game that respects your curiosity.
Controls are a simple virtual stick plus context taps, and they stay out of the way. The pacing is slow in a good way; I found myself stopping just to look at rooms. Headphones are strongly recommended, the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting.
Battery-wise it's moderate — the dark, sparse visuals keep the phone from working too hard. A single sitting of an hour left plenty of charge left over.

- Minimal controls that don't get in the way
